To be eligible for funding:
1. You must be a Telstra Corporation Limited employee (in Australia)
A Telstra Group employee includes any permanent full or part time employee of the Telstra Corporation Limited in Australia. Contractors and casual employees to Telstra are not eligible to apply for a Telstra Foundation Community Connection Grant.
2. The organisation must be non profit
All Australian non profit organisations are eligible with the exception of:
• political or religious organisations
• organisations that limit membership on the basis of race, gender or class
Organisations do NOT require DGR or TCC endorsement to be eligible.
3. Grants are paid to non profit organisations, not individuals
4. You must only apply for one Telstra Foundation Community Connection Grant in this round
An employee can only apply for one Community Connection Volunteering Grant or one Community Connection Leadership Grant.
5. You must not have successfully applied for a Telstra Foundation Telstra's Kids Fund grant for the same organisation in the past three years
6. You must not have successfully applied for a Telstra Foundation Community Connection Grant in the previous round
Organisations, however, are able to receive more than one grant.
7. You must have served on the board for 12 months (Community Connection Leadership Grant)
The employee must currently be on the board or committee of management of the non profit organisation and have held this position for the last 12 months, with prospects for a further 12 month appointment (evidence of office to be verified by the community organisation eg annual report, AGM minutes).
