The Telstra Foundation Ltd is an independent legal entity, separate from the Telstra Corporation Ltd, and has its own Board of Directors, a majority of whom (including the Chair) are community, non-Telstra members.
Structure of the Telstra Foundation
The Telstra Foundation has two divisions - the Telstra Foundation Community Development Fund and Telstra's Kids Fund. Both funds are administered by Telstra Foundation Ltd.

A majority of the board members of Telstra Foundation Ltd are independent of Telstra and its wholly owned subsidiaries (Telstra Group). The Board has established criteria and procedural rules for the allocation of grants. It may review and vary those rules (including any criteria or procedures set out in this charter) from time to time.
